Lasalle College Jakarta Scholarship Program Terms and Conditions
Scholarship Overview
The Lasalle College Jakarta Scholarship Program offers tuition fee discounts to eligible students for diploma and bachelor’s degree programs with full-time classes.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Academic Performance: Submit report cards for grades X and XI with an average score of at least 85/90 across all subjects (Nilai rata-rata).
- Essay: Write an essay in English, consisting of 250-300 words, detailing personal values in academic or non-academic areas.
- Portfolio: Submit a portfolio showcasing academic or talent achievements (tentative requirement).
Scholarship Categories and Parameters
Scholarships are awarded based on academic, non-academic, and talent criteria, with the following discount rates:
Academic Scholarship:
- 50% tuition fee discount for 6 or 9 semesters with a minimum passing score of 85-90.
- 30% tuition fee discount for 6 or 9 semesters with a minimum passing score of 80-84.
- 25% tuition fee discount for 6 or 9 semesters with a minimum passing score of 75-80.
Non-Academic Scholarship Criteria
- Leadership and Community Service:
- Demonstrated leadership roles in school or community organizations.
- Significant contributions to community service projects or initiatives.
- Letters of recommendation from community leaders or organization heads.
- Extracurricular Activities:
- Active participation in school clubs, sports teams, or cultural groups.
- Awards or recognitions in extracurricular activities (e.g., debate, sports, arts).
- Evidence of sustained commitment and impact in chosen activities.
*Note: The percentage of the scholarship for Non-Academic achievements will be determined by Lasalle College Jakarta based on the applicant’s overall profile and contributions.
Talent Scholarship Criteria for Creative Industry
- Fashion Talent:
- Portfolio: Submit a portfolio of fashion designs, including sketches, garment construction, or fashion photography.
- Fashion Shows and Competitions: Participation in fashion shows, competitions, or relevant fashion events, with awards or recognitions.
- Recommendations: Letters of recommendation from fashion instructors or industry professionals.
- Multimedia, Design, and Digital Arts:
- Portfolio: Submit a portfolio of multimedia projects, including animation, video production, or interactive media. And/or submit a portfolio of design projects, including graphic design, product design, interior design, or multimedia design.
- Competitions and Screenings: Participation in multimedia competitions, film festivals, or digital art exhibitions, with awards or recognitions.
- Recommendations: Letters of recommendation from instructors or industry professionals.
- Innovative Projects in Creative Fields:
- Projects: Evidence of innovative projects or entrepreneurial ventures in the creative industry.
- Competitions and Fairs: Participation in innovation fairs, startup competitions, or similar events related to the creative industry, with awards or recognitions.
- Recommendations: Letters of recommendation from mentors or industry professionals highlighting the applicant’s innovative contributions.
*Note: The percentage of the scholarship for Talent achievements will be determined by Lasalle College Jakarta based on the applicant’s portfolio and demonstrated skills in the creative industry.
Entrance Test Process
Applicants must undergo the following entrance tests:
- English and General Information Test
- Interview Session: for scholarship application
The entrance tests will be conducted online, with scores automatically calculated by the system.
Maintaining the Scholarship
Scholarship recipients must maintain minimum GPA of 3.50, reviewed by the academic department every semester to continue receiving the scholarship:
Additional Terms and Conditions
- Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of Lasalle College Jakarta and are subject to availability.
- The scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Recipients must adhere to the college’s code of conduct and academic policies.
- Failure to meet the academic requirements or any misconduct may result in the termination of the scholarship.
