A proud milestone has been achieved at the Asian Young Designer Awards (AYDA) 2025, organized by Nippon Paint.

Valletta Allison our Interior Design student secured a place among the Top 5 Finalists in Asia and won the Silver Award (2nd Place) in the Interior Design category through her project Hong Woonst.

Her project reimagined the historic Toko Merah as a boutique hotel through an adaptive reuse approach. Rather than erasing history, the design preserves cultural identity while introducing a contemporary hospitality experience.

Through thoughtful spatial planning, material exploration, and a strong design narrative, the project demonstrates how interior design can bridge heritage and modernity.
