LaSalle College Jakarta Fashion Design Students Showcase RESPLENDENCE at Indonesia Fashion Week 2026

LaSalle College Jakarta’s Fashion Design students took their creativity from the classroom to the runway with RESPLENDENCE, presented at Indonesia Fashion Week Official 2026. Featuring 18 original looks across two distinctive sequences, Porcelaine and Queen Sirikit, the showcase celebrated cultural inspiration, contemporary design, and innovative craftsmanship while giving students valuable hands-on experience in the fashion industry.

We are proud to share that LaSalle College Jakarta's Fashion Design students showcased RESPLENDENCE at Indonesia Fashion Week Official 2026.

Presented on Thursday, 30 July at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Senayan, RESPLENDENCE brought together 18 original looks created by 11 Fashion Design students. The showcase featured two sequences: Porcelaine, a contemporary interpretation of Batik Cirebon expressed through modern silhouettes and innovative craftsmanship; and Queen Sirikit, an evening wear collection inspired by the elegance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand, featuring exquisite textiles from Thailand and Myanmar.

We believe the best learning happens both inside and outside the classroom. Events like Indonesia Fashion Week give students the opportunity to collaborate with professionals, gain real-world experience, and present their work to a wider audience of industry professionals, media, and fashion enthusiasts, building the confidence to take their ideas from concept to runway.
